Quick Start Guide - Balance Sheet

| The Balance sheet is a snapshot in time of your business finances, showing
your Assets, Liabilities, and Equity. You can get a Balance sheet report at any time, for any point in time,
by selecting 'Reports' , 'Balance Sheet' in the Accounting menu. A screen similar to the following will
be displayed |

In the 'as at' and 'Compare to' drop down menus or text entry boxes, choose one or two points in time for
which you would like to get your Balance sheet report. If you make no selections in these two fields, you
will get a Balance sheet for today's date. If you select a month and year, the report will reflect the
month ending date for the month. If you choose the current month, the report will neccessarily reflect the
account balances on today's date.
Use the 'Include in Report' buttons to control some of the aspects of the output. Click 'Continue' to get the
report on the screen. An example report is show below. |

| To print the report, Right click your mouse in the report, and use the 'Print Dialog' to send the report
to your printer |
